Another week, another batch of adorable, adoptable local cats, dogs and rabbits up for adoption at a variety of Chicagoland shelters.

This week's batch is especially cute. If you notice something missing while you're out grilling this weekend with your buddies' pups, or wouldn't mind a furry wake-up call while you're sleeping in on Monday, it might be worth adding a stop to your local shelter to your Labor Day shopping agenda.
